We welcome applications for membership from individuals who share the values and goals of Rotary International. Rotary International's objective is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise and, in particular, to encourage and foster:
 
  1. The development of acquaintance as an opportunity for service
  2. High ethical standards in business and professions, the recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, and the dignifying of each Rotarian's occupation as an opportunity to serve society;
  3. The application of the ideal of service in each Rotarian's personal, business, and community life;
  4. The advancement of international understanding, goodwill, and peace through a world fellowship of business and professional persons united in the ideal of service.
This objective is set against the "Rotary Four-Way Test", used to see if a planned action is compatible with the Rotarian spirit. The Four-Way Test considers the following questions in respect to thinking, saying or doing:
 
  • Is it the truth?
  • Is it fair to all concerned?
  • Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
  • Will it be beneficial to all concerned?
The membership application process is as follows:
 
  1. Attend a club meeting - please contact the Sergeant-at-Arms (sergeant@rcpi.club) or the Membership Chair (membership@rcpi.club)
  2. Express your interest in joining to the Membership Committee Chair (membership@rcpi.club)
  3. You'll be assigned a sponsor and co-sponsor who will guide you through the application process and help you get acquainted with the club.
  4. Complete the application process.
If your application is successful, the Membership Committee Chair will inform you and make arrangements to welcome you as a full member in a future club meeting.
 
Please note that there is an annual membership subscription. In the year 2023-2024 this is set at CZK 7,500.
