Members and Friends visited the now fully restored Werich Villa on Kampa Island, in the heart of historic Prague. Few Prague buildings are enshrouded in such a mysterious history and conceal the fates of so many important personalities who have one thing in common: words. Exhibitions setting out the work of Jan Werich and Jiri Voskovek are located on the first floor in a new exhibition space. Marie Jehlickova organised the event including a lovely reception and food and drink in the roof theatre space of the villa after a fascinating guided tour of the villa. See all the pictures of the visit HERE. In the spirit of Rotary we were Having Fun and Doing good: all proceeds go to Ictus.
