Regular Meeting - Carlos Lozano
Dec. 08, 2025 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

It is a pleasure to welcome Carlos Lozano -Spanish olive oil producer and owner of Lozano Červenka- for a special presentation on the art and tradition of olive oil making. Carlos will guide us through the craft of producing high-quality olive oil, explore global production trends, and discuss the economic pressures and environmental challenges facing the industry today.

We will also have the unique opportunity to enjoy an olive oil tasting featuring oils from his own groves. As a hands-on grower and producer -cultivating approximately 25,000 olive trees and producing more than 300,000 liters of extra virgin olive oil annually- Carlos brings extraordinary expertise and a beautiful passion for his work. His oils originate in the foothills of the Sierra de Segura in the province of Jaén, one of the world’s most renowned regions for olive cultivation.

We will also have the pleasure to hear the Nomination Speechof Alena Ratajová, Human Resources Manager at Capgemini in Czech Republic and Slovakia, who has been attending our meetings regularly for the last few months. Her sponsor is Irena Brichta.

GERRY'S BIG BIRTHDAY BASH
Dec. 15, 2025 6:00 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.

So soon! So soon! Birthday time is here again AND IT'S A BIG ONE this time. (OK, so I'm at the stage where they are all big.frown)

At least we can have one more party before this year ends. With a fun quiz, a sing-along, maybe live entertainment, prizes and a definitely an auction it's sure to be FUN! More importantly, it may be your last great meal at the Curry House to keep you going through the winter solstice to reach carp and potato salad heaven.

Put it in your diary and register now. You know it makes sense!

Absolutely no personal gifts allowed, but items for the auction will be very much appreciated.

Free entry! Free and superb food! Free welcome drink! What's not to like? It's my treat in gratitude for still being here and being part of such an amazing club. This year we need to raise funds for our our Indian Schools project which we are supporting for the seventeeth year in January 2026.
