Great countryside, great company, great food, great walking  and a lot of laughter. That was the formula when 9 members of RCPI joined our partner club Rotary Club Bristol Breakfast for a long weekend of walking in the Welsh countryside.
On the first day we walked part of the Wye valley way from Chepstow to the fabulous Tintern Abbey and returned along a section of Offa's Dyke.
The Black Mountains were our challenge on day two with a steep ascent however we enjoyed superb views as a reward. Of course a pub lunch was a mandatory break in the middle of the day with sampling of ales. A whole weekend in wales in October without a drop of rain - we were very lucky!
A big thank you to all our friends from Bristol who were superb hosts and organisers of a very memorable weekend.
